NPF Bassetts Pole – Birmingham, England reports a 400% increase in ticket sales for it’s summer Paintfest event.
Operations Manager for the company – Kerry Mayo said “ We have compared bookings and ticket sales at the same point in time for 2012 and the numbers have blown us away…there is a significant increase compared to last year – to be 400% up on sales with another two months to go is awesome! There is a great vibe about the event and players from all over the UK ,Europe and rest of the World have been taking advantage of our staged ticket prices. Hosted in the heart of the UK at the world famous venue National Paintball Fields – Bassetts Pole, as featured in Greg Hastings Paintball games, ”Paintfest” is three days of Paintball and Party heaven! Brought to you by WDP Paintball Ltd – famous for world class events such as the NPPL Super 7 series, Hyperball and of course the legendary Angel Heaven – Paintfest is in it’s fifth year and has grown from a two day gathering of regular NPF scenario players to a full festival event over three days attended by some of the country’s top tournament and scenario players.
The three day event features a full Trade Expo with brands and companies such as Gi Milsim, Rap4 UK, Enola Gaye, LIPS paintball , Tippmann, WDP /NPF and many more carrying full trade stands of the latest kit and tech for your game. Players participate in numerous playing experiences in one of the world’s best paintball venues from rolling woodland games, CQB/ Killhouse sessions, Training classes with British Army Champions, Timed target runs with main feature games each day:-
Friday – Miltac:Black Hawk Down
Saturday – Zombies v Humans
Sunday – the main event – Diamond Wars Big Game
Free On-Site camping means that players can chill and soak up the festival vibe whilst the Saturday night Paintfest Players party on the main stage kicks the event up a notch with live bands, DJ’s, competitions , the Paintfest Games and of course the Mr + Miss Paintfest competiton. This year’s event also sees two NPF regular players tie the knot on Friday and celebrate their wedding at an exclusive reception in the main stage party area on Friday night!!
